E. Winslow Funaki is an object maker and educator working in sculpture, video, furniture, and design objects. Her work explores in-betweeness: between racial groups, between genders, between functional and non-functional, animate and inanimate. She holds a BFA in Painting and an MFA in Furniture Design from Rhode Island School of Design and was a participant at Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in 2016. Her work has been exhibited in venues including the RISD Museum, Brown University, Montserrat College of Art, and the John Michael Kohler Arts Center. Funaki currently lives and works in Boston, MA.
